He provides quick growing seedlings and technical support to farmers as well as providing a market. Because of his good work to the community he was recently awarded a tender to supply fare timber to a hospital and a host of local Real estate developers. About: Tree planting has become a common talk that no one can ignore the fact that there are enormous repercussions associated to the lack of it. The millennium development goal number 7 clearly outlines environmental issues and many other activists like Kibuuka, indeed agree that it can significantly contribute to improvement of forest conservation and production through technologies that are environmentally friendly, socially acceptable, economically viable and culturally compatible.
Kibuuka has been able to invest in a tree nursery using his savings from the garage business. He employees a nursery supervisor who attained a diploma in forestry together with several other casual labours who help him with other routine work.

There is great demand for tree seedling materials in Uganda and his main customers are the private tree planters, Government projects like the District Forest programme and other environmental organizations like Environmental Alert.

Kibuuka envisions a better world where farmers can generate substantive incomes from tree planting with plenty of wood-based cooking energy without fears of desertification.
